About me

Good morning, afternoon or evening, welcome to my website. Here you'll find more info about me, what I've learnt and what I'm capable of. I've personally always been interested in programming from a very young age and throughout my studies and work, I've found my passion for .NET and Tools Development. I believe it is very satisfying be able to bring new and improved features to in-house software and improving the workflow of colleagues.

Skills

Skills are rated based on two principles. One, by how comfortable I am with them. Second, at what stages I've been working with them (School, projects and/or work). You can look at the projects above to see more, code projects generally have their code available on Github.

Several of the tools I worked on impacted the workflows of multiple departments to improve the speed of developing their aspects for the game. While working here, I've learnt and improved my skills in WPF, Winforms and also UI and UX design which is important when developing tools.

As De Waak gives employment to disabled people, this application would help the employees step by step to assemble a product.

    Anywhere, Anytime

Being a programmer means you will be learning anywhere and anytime. I've experimented with different languages, libraries APIs, etc. and used some of them even while working on projects for college.

The DAE Curriculum is heavily focused on integrating students into the game development industry. The curriculum offers several bachelors that will integrate the student into a specific part of the industry, but still teaches them other parts. (e.g. programmers do learn about the art pipeline)
More info about the curriculum can be found here.

    Informaticabeheer

Informaticabeheer was a TSO direction available in the last two years of secondary school. It has a big focus on coding and programming. This includes app development, web development and also teaches you about hardware and server management. It's a great direction to later go into MCT, Devine or DAE.
